My DIL went from teaching 4th grade to assistant principal to principle at the elementary school. proud of her. but being in administration has its challenges. a kid was going off f this f you threats and all. she had to tackle him and hold him down till teachers and resourse officer got there. the kicker. he is in 3rd grade.

Yes, been in the system for 38 years on the maintenance side of things. Yes, admin has a very difficult job at times. So many social issues they have to deal with that no one knows about. Never mind some of the entitled parents.

Yeah, I hear it daily over the dinner table. My wife is PMT trained so she is the tackler.

    Morning yall…

Mowed and week wacked the property yesterday, went to cool off prior to mowing the pool with a nice adult beverage as myself and wife heard a loud snap/crack. Turned around and a few minutes later the limb came down. I am glad it did it prior to me mowing and also prior to me being on the mower, would never heard it cracking then and my luck would have been while I was under it. I filled a 5 gal bucket full of pecans from what fell out he ground from this limb, there was still plenty of attached to it as well.

    Morning all

Sounds like a 'too much maintenance' tree.

Fruit trees are like that, if you don't keep them trimmed the weight of the fruit will break them and the fruit grows in groups.

But they aren't 30 foot trees with widowmaker branches

Yes, but they do provide good shade and heat of summer will wear them down. I have 6 of them scattered across the yard. Pecan season is upon us and the trees are full this year, past couple of years have been very bad. I guessing we will have around 20-30 buckets this year.

lol, when we get them all packaged up in 1 gallon zip lock bags some could be shipped out. We don’t charge a bunch considering how much your getting but some people still thinks its too much. I just tell them go get their small 12 or 16oz bag from the market and compare those prices.

We don’t eat much pecan pie..
