    Think I enjoy sharpening them more than actually using them. Always was going to get one of those jigs for the router to do it but figure I don't do it enough to spend the few dollars they cost. Then kick myself every time I do it by hand.

    Nope 72 almost every day or at least most days. Boring. Or maybe not LOL. Stay warm with your cold snap :p

    Yeah the North Shore gets some huge waves in the winter, used to body surf there. Until one of the locals informed that the great white sharks come in by the thousands during the winter to hunt. Not a fan of being shark bait!

    My brother told me recently that Maui is getting a lot of shark attacks lately and the most recent was 11/16/16 . No attacks for quite sometime on Oahu

    Yep same here sharpen them no problem nice set of Arkansas stones and a strop to finish with , same here I do it once every couple of years so not worth the investment and I do metal not wood !! lol I did break down and buy the dewalt kit for the door set 28 bucks is cheap and easy and hell I can pass it off to friends lol it is plastic not a nice metal one.
