Sciatic pain sucks. I’m actually sitting in the recliner with the heating pad on my lower back, left hip for just that reason.

Tree guys were here a few minutes after 0800, they gave me a call about 20 till to tell me they were on the way. Three man crew with a lift and mini skid steer to move/stack debris for a separate claw truck to haul it off.

After walking the yard and talking with them I went for a walk, the cutter was just climbing in the bucket as I left. I get back in 35 minutes and the first tree is on the ground, this was a 30-35’ tall oak that’s about 36” across at the base. They haven’t slowed down. Working on the biggest tree now, it somewhat hangs over the front porch roof, they said it’s not a problem but I’m kind of worried, it’s taller and larger in diameter.

A few guys and the right equipment makes short work of it. I’ve had 13 Oaks taken out, stumps and all, I’ve cleaned up 3 that blew over in storms, used to have 28 . Rule #1 , don’t plant a tree within 30’ of a house. I really do like trees
