    Good morning all.

The dog didn’t sleep last night, so nobody did. We’ve been having this ongoing problem with her and would give her some pain medication that the vet prescribed which would also make her sleepy. It didn’t work last night. So she was up pacing, panting, and clawing at the carpet. Not too good as she’s 13 and has a couple of tumors with one being large on her hips which have dysplasia. So I guess we’ll see what else we can do to help her relax at night.

Yeah, the work wasn’t cheap but they were too big and close to the house for me to tackle.

The crew had them all down, other trees pruned back, debris stacked and they were loaded and gone by 1430. Claw truck will be here today or tomorrow and the stump grinder by the end of the week.

I’ll do some more pruning back on other trees around the yard perimeter and drop some smaller 4-6” trees now. Then it’s time to get some grass growing up front again.

With my osteoarthritis in both hips, I also toss and turn all night. I can certainly empathize with your Doggo, and you, as well. Hoping the right course of pain meds and/or other treatment is determined very soon. God bless all of you.

    And good morning to all!

We had some good sunsets while we were out there, and a good sunrise one morning. We also got some small shower activity, which gave us a rare site out there, a rainbow… The first one was to the west, second one was towards the east.

I don’t remember if you mentioned it but off grid? I see it’s not easy digging!

Edit: I stopped at Tractor Supply and picked up some CBD/melatonin treats. If they don’t work on the dog tonight, maybe they will for me…
