Oh the cars.....! While I was in high school, and had the '68 Z28, I couldn't afford to put gas in it. (4-1/2mpg with the 4:88 gears) Dad bought a car through his business for me to drive.....A true American classic.... A 1973 Vega Panel Express. Sorta like a station wagon, 'cept no back seat and no rear side windows. Worlds first "mini-van". Up side? There has never been a better vehicle built for rock roadin'! Great gas mileage, dorky looks, and wasn't the most durable car ever built....

30 degrees this morning. Supposed to be upper 60's later today and tomorrow. "Date night" with the wife. First weekend in 2 months I'm not laid up in pain. Gonna have a good time!

I had a Monza Spyder. 305 V8, 2 barrel carb, 4 speed. Mine was a stripper, no A/C, no center console, AM radio. I put a cassette deck in it and tried (unsuccessfully) to make it go around corners.

    Morning.
Off this morning to finally get my 4340 chromos put in the rear. Weirdest part is they take "79-95" mini truck bearings.
Just finally praying this goes according to plan after the debacle with the local dealership.
I have faith in Southeast Overland. Fingers crossed.

That was entertaining! The wife and I just got home from our favorite Italian diner. It was SWAMPED....Never seen it so busy. Right before we left, 3 county Sheriff Deputies and 5 of the local city boys showed up to eat. The parking lot was overflowing and these guys parked everywhere BUT in legal parking spots. They just barely got seated and must have got an "all hands on deck" call.

Looked like an episode of the Keystone Cops......

And before the first one cleared the parking lot, musta got the signal 9......Everyone back inside for meatballs!

There is little in life that's more action filled than small town first responders when they're in a group and a call comes in! (And I'm easily amused ;) )

How about a stupid HOA rule http://www.allthatsnews.com/article...tion-sues-couple-parking-truck-their-driveway The condo my folks lived in up on Cape Cod had a no pick up rule. No if's, and's or but's.

    evening boys and girls.

My first "car" had two wheels.

My first one was Kawasaki 650. Another guy on base had one, too and he was in trouble a lot.... cops would see mine parked outside work and come in and ask whose bike that was...

One of these days, I'm gonna start my OWN HOA, appoint myself King, and make myself the only member.

Probably the only way I could ever be involved with one and NOT get tossed out. ;)
