Don't think I'd do it at all. I've heard stories from friends up here about rules being changed after they'd been living there for years. Seems like they're little political organizations, often being run by people with personal agendas. :notsure:

Very true..... They told us, that stuff already up would be grandfathered in :notsure: I'm sure other places wouldn't care. Most definitely political.... old biddies and birds with nothing else to do than pick on hard working people who haven't had a chance to clean up the weeds in two weeks.

I lucked out when I bought this home. HOA but if the home you buy never bought into the HOA then you don't have to either. Sweet. And I'm 350 feet outside of city lines, no city taxes. Sweet again.

HOA rule no pick up trucks allowed... WTF kind of rule is that, was the Cape annexed by Soviet Russia and never regained their American roots there in the cradle of independence ?

Heading out to set up the ropes for climbing, should be good weather today and rain predicted for late morning tomorrow. Supposed to be a hell of a storm.

Good morning all. Going to be nice today in the upper 40's. I'll take it!
Started making a Tourtière, aka, French Canadian meat pie at 5 am, lol. Should be done baking in about 10 minutes.
    Making it with ground venison.
    Reheats and freezes well.
This will supply me with a few suppers this week.

Yesterday was like an early spring day here.....and it was also the first weekend in 5 weeks that I felt good enough to take a long drive.....So, the wife and I took off on an unplanned road trip. We spent about 8 hours just going where ever the truck took us. We ended up at "Taylorsville Lake", a Kentucky DNR impoundment (3,800 acres) about 30 miles from home. We drove down to the "Tailwaters", a popular trout fishing area below the dam. There must have been 200 people fishing! Wind was ripping (40mph gust's) so it was tough conditions. Never saw anyone catch anything. But, you know what they say about a bad day fishing? Better than a good day doing anything else!

Morning, All ! Excuse my absence for most of yesterday, I was meeting a woman for the first time and she appears to be AWESOME. We walked all over Bethesda MD, talked about everything from MINI Coopers (she has owned 2, me 6) to the benefits of growing up in small towns like we both did, to 60 other subject I can't even remember because I was mesmerized by her beauty. She lives and works in downtown DC, not an easy trek from here but good things in life are worth some effort. Date 2 set for next weekend. Stay tuned.

Going to be around 50 here today. Going to swap out my grille when it warms up and maybe remove that V6 badge off the tailgate.

Corny Joke Of The Day: Why can't dracula's wife sleep at night. Because of his coffin.

Have a great day, everyone !!

    Nice, Cam!

Spent 10 hours belaying young scouts and parents down the cliffs, popped 2 Tylenols and went to sleep around 8. Got the back of the truck nice and comfy, just woke up feel great. But I need my coffee!
