just what I need to do what I want
I want to keep as much weight off of my truck as possible. I am running stock-sized tires on a 2" lift, soft-topper instead of hard (preffered), and am trying to figure out a way to remove my receiver hitch but still have recovery points.
I went wheeling with some guys who all had large tires, full armor, skids etc and every hill we came to they fell far behind and before long they are on the radio saying "we need to stop and get fuel".

I can actually see a few bricks in the driveway now. Wore a light weight coat and still drenched in sweat. And half my face feels like it has frostbite. Blowing snow is sort of like pissing in the wind, but sometimes you got to do what you got to do. Down to 11 now. Split pea and ham soup should be thawed soon not sure about me.

Hey being able to tell gender is a prerequisite for getting into the Navy, just saying! ;)

I don't have any grandkids and would love to meet yours in Az! Wouldn't be the same not being my own but have a feeling I'd get a kick out of seeing you with them. And watching your son as you spoil them LOL.

Damn hate to hear that and hope things turn out well for you, and soon!

Kol-no offense intended if you are running this set up.
Most of the guys on that trip told me that they regret that their trucks have gotten to weigh as much as they do.

Actually the Department of Defense came out with that crap in Sept. A Captain that I hunt with sent a copy of it out to all of us and said this is the stuff the current Secretary of Defense feels is more important than real world issues. I couldn't even make it through the first few pages of it without getting sick to my stomach.

One of the points that we talked about in November was the references they used. The Australian Air Force. Not that we have anything against the AF but when the hell do we base policy in this country based on other countries?! Uh Oh I better quit while I'm behind and get accused of being intolerant and political.
