I voted for the Stiletto Ti. That thing is too expensive to use and it certainly would hurt (my wallet) if I dropped it on my big toe and it got a scratch from the ground...

It's black and white though, so with bad vision I can see the confusion.

I have had shingles. It manifested on my back. I have a nice scar now. It was painful, itchy, and felt like I had living creatures crawling under my skin. Cant imagine having shingles in my eye. Much feels shingle brother

The Challenge Coin originated in the Military and was specifically used to prove you're in a certain or specific unit . So if someone asked are you in Marsoc " Marines Special Op's you had proof

Also Challenge Coins also in the Military. Were a favorite especially at NCO or Officer's clubs . Basically you would say show me your Challenge Coin . If someone didn't have there's then that person lost the challenge and had to buy that round of drinks

I always carry my US Marine Corps Challenge Coin with me and have been challenged a few times

    Here's my USMC Challenge Coin

Coins were and are an instant "atta boy" given to military members by commanders or senior NCO's, usually to mid to low level. But there are also a lot of coins that can be bought that people collect.

So, in that whole challenge thing, if the challenge has been given to produce a coin (or buy drinks) and everyone has a coin, the loser is usually the one who has the coin that is less prestigious or from the lowest grade officer. So if someone has one from a Col and someone else has one from a Gen, the owner of the Col coin buys.

Me either. Think it is an AF and Marine thing. In the Navy we spend coins to get beer. And collect coffee cups and beer mugs. And labels of beer bottles from far away exotic places, but usually tastes like elephant piss.

Steak turned out well tonight, juicy using that fancy Sous Vide thing.

    4in half.jpg

Grilled Romaine hearts with greenhouse tomatoes, sliced green onion garnish and extra virgin olive oil on both. Gnawed that bone on the ribeye bare, meat was like butter.

Damn ya all using 25 cents words to make a 5 cent point not sure I'm qualified to be here anymore :D

129* solid throughout which is at the upper end of Medium Rare. Was far from tough and the juices, color etc. using this method are a bit different. Next time I will go down a degree and then another until it hits what I like for a sweet spot. However for you Mike I'd be glad to cook it as well done as you like. Different tastes for different people and that is why there is Rare, Med Rare, Med and Well Done.

Went to a BBQ last summer and they cooked the burgers raw.
They didn't know how to cook med. well.
I had to cook for the wife and I. It was still moving when they were eating it..

I like rare and my wife likes well, so when she cooks everything well, when I cook she gets well and I get rare. So if beef is dinner I try to do the cooking...unless it's a pot roast in the crock pot.

And it's amazing some people don't know the difference between a roast you cook to temperature and a pot roast.

It takes a bit to learn. Especially to get well done and not have a dry hockey puck. I can pretty much handle a well done burger or steak as long as it isn't dry.
