    :wave: evening Chuck

    :yay: Congrats Chuck. My best day was 17.5k - walked the pooches, shopped, and then cut the front yard, and raked leaves. Was a tired pup that day =)

    I have toys though :} And was even looking at one of these https://www.magnumresearch.com/Firearms/Magnum-Research-4570-Revolver-75-inch-Barrel.asp and why you ask.. well because lol ..really no buddy of mine sent it to me he figured it would go well with my lever 45-70 but it did spark a lively debate between me an him . 9 mm vs 45 acp he readily admits the 45 is a better choice for stopping quickly but whines about weight of pistol and size for concealment lol btw he hs about 80 lbs heavier then I and 2 inches taller lol but thinks he can't hide a Glock 30 :}

    Evening all, just got home from another fun filled day at work.

    If MQQSE is going to be a mod, a poll won't change things. I will not bother the One Bob.

    I do not think The One Bob is aware of his Tacoma Less status so thought we could run a poll and vote him to be a Mod then ask the One Bob to make it so ...:}

    Easy way to burn up the wiper motor is to forget to turn off your wipers before the ice hits, or snow melts them into place.
    Somewhere around here is a picture I took of a phone booth in a small town in SD back in Nov when we took a dog to the vet. It still works, and a number of the small towns have them. The town consists of a bank (farmers bank), grain elevator, farm implement and supply dealer and a vet.

    I was a mod on another site for 17 years. At first it was a fun site so there wasn't much trouble. But over time you see the cycle of problems thats perpetual. The site changed, ownership changed, membership changed so I just walked away from it all. I didn't have any skin in the game so, what the hell. One of the really great things about this particular forum isn't so much about the truck, it's that we all have very similar life experiences that only 50-60 year olds have lived through qnd can relate to. We have some similar backgrounds, we have some different backgrounds but we all have the 3 Stooges, black and white tv, RC cola and twinkies (like 'em or not).

    ...and I don't know where all that came from.

    You're smarter than we give you credit. :cool:
    You, are not. :der:

    absolutely nothing

    Me either, but it was very "Dr Phil."

    I gotta say, there is something special about this site, and I believe it has something to do with how Bob runs it. I've done research on the RAM forums, but I don't see folks just hanging out and BSing with each other like they do here. :notsure:

    I remember my favorite hunting lunch when I was a kid (10 yrs old or so) ... we'd stop at an old country store, the kind with old worn wooden floor and pot belly stove in the middle, buy a bag of Doritoes and a can of vienna sausages, washed down with a Mt Dew or Orange Crush. I can almost taste it ... :drool: :laughing:

    Damn that's a lot of cylinder. Longest straight wall brass firearm I own is a .444 Marlin and I can't imagine firing that from a revolver.
