I left Texas in '88 so I'm out of touch with what's there now. But I had lot of fun while I was there. Between fishing, camping, hunting and going to all the fun places and partying, it was a blast.

You left right at the best time for the blues.
Seems it died down a little my way.

Something else I tried to explain to my son is there wasn't so much "country" music as there was "western" music and that has seemed to have gone by the wayside also.

Glad I was a Chief, there is no Code of Conduct or Conduct unbecoming :)

Older country, some blues, SRV like all of that. And a lot of the music you posted toward the end. Emerson Lake and Palmer, Black Sabbath, Zep, Floyd, Deep Purple, etc. And classical music  I seemed to stop with my preferences of music sometimes in the 80's.

Sorry for the interruption rock on! Got a call this evening from a friend that Farm and Fleet got a pallet of Calcium Chloride in so ran there and picked up 250 pounds. Life is good and getting another 250 on Wednesday delivered from Walmart. Time for bed and give the muscles a chance to relax, done enough on ice tonight. And this week. Everyone have a good one!

You should hear those kettle drums on my Velodyne sub. Makes the springs in my recliner vibrate LOL. Of course have to listen to it at reference level with the Denon pushing the Polk towers and the sub picking up the rest. Crossover is set to music instead of LFE for movies it is pretty pure picking up where the towers are weak. Even my rear speakers are towers. Night and congrats Gramps! :)
