    If it's the old bdu, you can find that stuff all over Goodwill and all the surplus stores. It's when I start hearing bullshit stories and seeing tridents, wings, tabs regimental garb that doesn't match up that I'll get them cornered and show them the error of their ways.

    My plan is as such
    If I do this.
    Sps long tail med kit
    15 hp predator engine or a lufan for charging system
    Alumaweld 14ft Jon boat.
    Looking for about 20mph top speed.
    I know it's not like my bass boat but going through thick weeds and over stumps or hitting a stump
    Underwater means I change a prop at 15 bucks compared to thousands for a new lower unit.
    I'm always doing things different and no one around here has one that I have seen. Even driving by.
    So like I said it's just a thought.
    Surface drives are way to much for my budget with a big vanguard twin on it.
    A long tail is less than half the price of the same size reg outboard. Air cooled.No need to worry about a water pump. Just no reverse. I just think it would be so cool running right through the weeds. There is one spot I fish that is mega stumped. Took me years to figure a way through. Now besides that it's full of milfoil in sections. Very thick which would ruin my Merc. So this would poop right through that.
    Like I said just thinking

    Do to a birth defect I didn't get to join. But by having my Dads Airborne patch on the Headliner of the Tacoma, I hope I'm not breaking any Valor rules. That's the last thing I want to do!

    Well I registered and was 1H. I know I wouldn't have gone in as my asthma was kicking in big time. I might have been sent in to boot but after I had a few attacks and passed out I think they may have seen the light.

    My ambition at the age of 14 was the Coast Guard. Then my back started acting up, and at 16 they fused two discs. That was the end of that Dream.

    No it is not, it is usually having part or all of a uniform with patches and insignia's etc and even then as long as your not portraying you earned or were awarded them it is a non starter. The only real militant group about it is the Seals and with justification that is some of the most intense training in any branch of the military. A person would be very foolish indeed to be wearing their insignia on a part of a uniform out in public and saying they were a Seal. They have very accurate lists of who was a Seal that go back further then most idiots who attempt to lie and say they were a Seal are aware. Moreover, if they were a Seal they have full access to those lists . And to be honest I am not real sure I would want a real Seal / group of Seals angry with me lol. The Marines are referred to as Uncle Sam's misguided children note it says children!! lol The Seals do not fall into the children category. They fall into the they really want to do damage to you they will and you most likely will never see it coming category.. At least with a Marine you will see it coming though it has about the same damage effect :} Then again when most of the elite groups from the Navy, Marines , Army need rescuing who do they call ..... Yep you got it AF Para-Jumpers can we say CHUCK NORRIS !! LOL :}
    The above is All in good fun so please do not get your BDU's in a knot :}

    No, you're good. I have my dad's stuff from the Corps, my uncle's stuff from WWII. It's when people.make the wrong claims and misrepresent themselves for something they aren't. There's probably more of that within the services than outside. I've seen quite a few px rangers that are just as guilty or more than those who've never served because they know better.

    Nah the Marines would have taken you and told you to toughen up panty waist !! :} It is my personal belief that once you turn 18 if you are not in college you serve a 3 year hitch and then if you want to go to College etc fine. If you are going to college you will serve a hitch also but it should be a 4 year hitch just in the reserves. You got to basic right out of HS school and job training then start college do your two weeks a year and 1 weekend a month by the time your done with college your done with your commitment. It will give the person yes male or female a better idea of how the world works and teach them to have the respect for themselves and others they should have gotten from parents if they did fine it will just reinforce it. They will learn many other things and do some growing up before they hit the work world. Just my opinion I will say many other countries do this and it seems to work soo....

    What's with mechanics leaving their tools in customers cars ??? . I seem to be the lucky recipient of their tools recently
