    I won't say How many hernias I've had but my last one they went in through my belly button. Then they sealed it with super glue. If you never had a hernia repaired and have questions just pm me.

    Oh good morning all

    Alrighty now! Back @ work. By the looks of my email inbox, at least I was missed....Drove through a snow squall on the way in....Dang near white out conditions.....and it's 39 degrees out. Calling for possible temps in the 70's by Sunday.

    wed evening, we stopped at a KFC/Taco Bell restaurant to grab a bite. I recall the wife asking me what time it was as we pulled in the parking lot. It was 6:30 on the dot. Saw on the news this morning where last night, at 6:30PM, 2 employees at the very same KFC got into a fight and one pulled a gun, shooting the other. The shooter then left and was chased by police until crashing. Timing is everything.

    They might have been fighting over how greasy the chicken was......Yuk.

    Hope 'y'all'z havin' a good day!

    :wave: fiftys. Been lurking but not a lot of time to post.

    I thought I may have had a hernia once. Turned out to be a worn out hip joint, since replaced. (Ask me about those before getting yours done.)

    I hear that. I've cut back to 3 days/week, which means now I put in about 30 hours/week instead of the 55+ I used to do. Still find myself doing stuff on my supposed days off, especially at the end of the year, but it's been getting better lately. Mostly I have to discipline my boss to unload me instead of leaving me with a fulltimer's workload; the only thing I've found that works is to simply not do stuff, which is hard for me to do. (I'm a workaholic.)

    I did a 3 day / 4 day rotation for a couple of years; 3 12-hour days then 4 days off, followed by 4 12-hour days and 3 days off. Those 4-day 'weekends' were really nice.

    Cold and snowy, but this has been an easy winter overall.

    Ultrasound went well, no operation this year! Back to the 6 month scan cycle. I'll take it.

    Took the day off to drive my wife in for a colonoscopy today. Stay healthy, people.

    Just finalized all the details for dinner tomorrow evening. My wife and I will meet my oldest and best friend and his wife at a place where we all used to hang out years ago. We haven't seen Brent and Lisa for almost 8 years. He was best man in our wedding. Brent was also my regular co-pilot back in the "good ol' days" of my earliest 4wds, when we'd go out on all night mud runs! (pre-married days) Gonna meet at an old stagecoach stop/roadhouse near where we grew up. It's called "The Chicken House". Best fried chicken on earth! Another old friend used to tend bar there. We'd put a few bucks on the bar and he'd keep our mugs full all night. I used to crawl out the door at closing time! Last time I was there, we watched Daytona 500 when Dale Earnhardt was killed.

    I'm REALLY looking forward to the evening.

    Early to bed and early to rise, like Ben said !

    Morning, Everyone ! I'm going to go get a quote an an aftermarket audio upgrade for my truck later. I like it when Freddie and Mick and the boys from Pink Floyd make my lungs and the rear view mirror shake.

    Have a great day, all !

    The shop I'm going to specializes in JL Audio, Pioneer and Rockford Fosgate (not spending that much). I'll get a couple of recommended options for them then do some research and make a decision. I'll report back tonight or tomorrow with what they recommend.

    I put a Kenwood in with GPS/DVD/Bluetooth and such I had the stock speakers swapped out and another set of tweeters added they are driven by 400 watt amp . Had a a 10 inch sub installed driven by a 200 watt amp and now :} no one can hear me singing. I could have had the rear camera hooked to the unit but I left it off so I can use that input for a rear camera on the RV. It Is fun cranking it now and then next to a kid who is maxing out mom and dads car stereo lol. One thing I suggest at least if your in a damp area humidity wise . I went with the plastic spacers not compressed sawdust and also had the doors done with sound deadener. I listen to everything from Anthrax to Vivaldi along with just about anything in between so :}
