Good morning. Good game last night except for the Pats winning. Not a fan of the Pats being in the AFC East they are arch rivals. But if you like them or hate them got to have respect for them.

I keep one bag in the console of the truck and another in my coat pocket with extra pills. The one in the coat gets used a lot because I forget a lot. And then usually forget to refill it in fact the bag has been sitting on the counter for the last week, thanks for the reminder. Not sure what I'm going to do this spring when I don't need a coat. Hopefully damn nerve will not be a problem by then but not betting on it.

Kind of worried that I'll get pulled over sometime and pull a baggie of pills out and have guns pointed at me. Cut out the top of the prescription and carry it in the console and also another in the wallet. So much for my paperwork reduction act.

That would be too much, but at least they tried got to give them credit for that. My oldest dog when he was a pup ran off when I was hunting once and ended up chasing chickens on a farm. By the time I caught up with him the farmer said he normally shoots dogs that chases chickens but that this one was so good looking he couldn't do it. He was standing there with a rifle in his hand. That is when I finally switched to ecollars. Now that the old guy can't hear I use vibrate to get his attention and give hand commands.

A buzz box combined with hand signals would work take a couple of weeks to get him going and then continuing the training with new family . Do you guys work with a trainer at all before rehoming the dogs to get some basic obedience ?

That's what we have for our dog. She's not deaf, but she very focused on whatever catches her attention (squirrels, deer, groundhogs, pretty much anything)

I got a nice long range (~1 mile) shock/vibration collar, unscrewed the two shock prongs and filled the screw holes with silicone. Eliminates any error with using the electrical stimulation. She respond extremely well to the vibration and tone.

Usually, vibration only collars don't have the extended range as the "shock" collars that hunters use.

She knows that when we bring out her "shock" collar, it's time to go into the deep woods!
