Ok. I don't know how y'all is dealing with this affront to humanity but, in the last two days I've seen pictures of Ring Dings, cookies (magic ones no less) and read about cheesecake! Do I have any for realsies? NO!
    Oh! The inhumanity!

    I think I'll go cry now. .....

Nope have to use WC doc they gave me 3 to choose from. He's doing ok I guess I'm sure he's trying what he can before having to resort to surgery. He told me his main concern was if he has to operate he may have to cut through what's still attached and not entirely sure there'll be enough left to reattach. I typically rely on me for getting stuff done and this having to wait crap isn't for me. I still have to run electric to the screened porch and enclose the underside of the roof.I've ha to put that off for a year now and it just pisses me off. Then today I find out a job opened at work that I really wanted but was told too late. I had interviewed with the same department yeas ago and the boss there told me I was well qualified for this job but to beef up on a few skills. I spent a gend on classes, spent my off time going around with one of the inspectors, and waited now for 2 1/2 years. They knew I wanted it yet nobody could bother to give me a jeads up. I'm so damn tired of being sick and tired. I tell myself everyday to suck it up and move on work needs to get done (I'm still the only one really doing anything) but this shit wears on you after a while. Sorry for the rant just a little frustrated

    Thanks!

Funny as in sitting here wallowing in self pity a dark chocolate Klondike bar and a glass of wine magically appeared in my hands. Love my wife!

Yeah I know how good you must be at what you do and I'm sure you find ways to make it up but that still sucks balls. I believe I may have to tell a service writter if he/ she wants work done for free get out there and do it themselves

Can your wife help you run the electric wires and do some of the other stuff? I'd help if I was closer.

That sucks. Real sorry to hear about how they are treating you. Your boss probably doesn't want to let you go, since you are the only one who he can depend on to get stuff done.

Are you sure it's too late to apply for the other job? I wouldn't take their word for it. Even if it is "too late" for now, make a habit of stopping by the office and seeing what's going on so next time, you'll know when something is coming up. Maybe the "new guy" won't work out.
