Hey Chris...my kinda winter, supposedly near 70 degrees Sunday.

 

She just uglied a mudslide over near Chuck.

 

Chris , Tomorrows storm is supposed to be really bad and forecasters have been warning the public for quite a few days . its still off the coast right now .supposed to make landfall very early tomorrow morning

 

I've been outta the loop for awhile, seems like I gotta catch up. Lots going on...

I have no way to contact her. Surely the church will be watching out for these kids welfare. I hope

 

I had a hard time making my 10k step goal for the last week or so cause I was working under an Explorer fabbing rcker panels and spent alot of my day on my back. It feels good to be back working o n my feet except my hips are giving me some trouble

The Church is probably already got plans if the weather gets bad enough . The local news are saying this is the worst storm to hit Socal in over 10 years with up to 10 inches or more accumulation

The storm track is supposed to be between San Franciso and and Ventura but this is a huge nasty low press system . I will be watching the weather tomorrow and will keep an eye on weather in Bakersfield for you

 

Thanks Chuck! 10 inches snow in Bakersfield? Or further north? Oh well she's seen way worse than 10 inches of snow. Now 10 inches of rain SoCal may finally slide off the map

 

Up to 10" of rain from this storm with 1-3" per hr rate .Snow level won't go down below 6k feet so no worry there

There was a landslide near me on Forest falls , Dobbs peak at over 10kft had a major rock slide about 2hrs ago

So tonight we tried a new restaurant called Black Bear dinner.
Reviews are mixed.
We will try it again, but so far its meh its O.K.
My wife ordered a burger and it was raw. They brought a new one for her, but didn't seem to be interested in doing more because of it. I had Salmon, and it was good, but it might be a little overcooked.
Service was good. Place was busy as hell, but new restaurants around here are always busy as hell the first month. Well see how it goes a couple months from now.
Another thing about this town. New restaurants are always really good, but in about 6 months they always go to shit. With this one starting out less than spectacular, it will be interesting to see how it turns out.
We shall see.
