So go in for an annual physical this morning after doing the the 12 hour fasting deal. Get home and it's like I hadn't eaten in a week. Must be a mental thing as if I had to make up for lost time when I couldn't eat.

It got up to 69F here today in (what is currently) balmy CT. Warm enough for me to sneak out of work a few minutes early, get home, and enjoy a nice Gin & tonic.

Wife wanted to see a movie so we hauled ass and made it.
    GET OUT was the movie.
DONE WASTE YOUR MONEY!! is what I say. That movie was soooooo bad.
I said it'll be a long time when she can choose a movie again.

On a brighter note stopped by HD and was looking around and found around counter that'll go good with cabinets. Going in am.

So we learned today that my son's two Purple Hearts have finally been approved. It has taken awhile, he was medically retired from the Marines a few years ago. When my son called I could hear the pride in his voice, choked me up a bit.

had to go to "beeeuteeeful" Waterbury this morning to pick up a work truck.
That town must be the "cultural" center of the world, lol. Some things never change.
Think I'll have an adult beverage once I get squared away here.
