One of my baitcasters

 

Termites. The last 'professionals' that trimmed the tree almost killed it. 10 years later I find limbs like this.

Yes sir. Sometimes my body feels like i'm already there but I'll seal the deal ina nother 1.5 yrs.

it was nice to have 3 daze off though!!

 

I met with a potential employee yesterday. She was convincing....Had to interview on Sunday because she had a job and didn't want to miss any time there. She gave me a resume' that was not too over the top, but VERY impressive. Her expectations for wages were in line. So I offered her a job on the spot. Even offered her $1 more than she asked for. She accepted, and gave me a start date that would allow her to give 2 weeks notice to current employer. All sounded good.

I get to work this morning and find an e-mail where she's declined the job. I'm bummed. (Didn't give a reason)

Fire-A-thon @ work today. 3rd person let go since 8AM just left the building with police escort off the property.

Ahh those were days as I did see Ted Nugent, Thin lizzy,Foghat,Bob Seger,Blue Oster Cult,Molly Hatchet,Eddy Money and Outlaws over the years @ the Toledo Speedway Jam.

 

Music you can actually understand and not have to beep out every other word. Those were the days, we use to travel to the Cap Centre or Merriweather to catch concerts.

 

Carrier Dome, Rolling Stones, Steel Wheels tour, 6th row. My ears were ringing for 3 days !! lol

 

I've been through more than a few of those days, and I've been one of those ushered out a couple of times. (Tech industry, lots of startups, shutdowns, and everything in between.) Here's hoping you make it through!
