I noticed some corrosion on the positive post of my truck battery for the first time. Cleaned with battery cleaner, and hooked up the Cteck. I'll be keeping a eye on it.

Damm! Summit is fast! My tool shipped already. :)

I use battery spray. We used it years ago on golf carts . Did good after clean and dry.

What are we going to do? :notsure:If we radiate the Pacific I don't know how any of us survive ultimately? And IMO thats what it sounds like is happening. No one seams to care, no one seams to want to talk about it. I stopped eating Tuna for years and only started again recently. Hoping if there IS a problem someway the info will get out. But I don't know if it does any good in the long run.
Work is going to suck today too. Im already behind by 2 hours and haven't even left the house.
At least the storm is gone.

Yeah I had a layer of die electric grease on the terminal, and still started to corrode. I'm thinking it might be leaking from the post. Thanks.

    It's hardly talked about.
It'll end up everywhere with the jet stream.

Try and have a good day.
    Go get the new truck!!

I don't have to get the new truck yet, because I have it right now till they get mine fixed. They said Fri. maybe at the soonest, but a buddy of mine was at the dealer and I told him to go take pics of mine. The only thing they have done is write my name on the windshield. I don't think it will be done by friday, so we have awhile with this one before we have to return it/ I have to try and make a deal on it.

If I lived in California I'd be getting something. I'm sure it's here also. Been 6 years and counting.

If you clean the posts with baking soda and water, take the battery out of the truck or rinse the area below well afterwards. I've seen some bad corrosion to the steel below the battery after cleaning using this method.

Well at first primary guy last year thought I had a minor eardrum perf so I left it along it left me alone ear was "popped" on and off for a few months then stayed like that for 3 months so made another appointment with ENT and after a CT scan I quote " You have an impressive amount of fluid in that ear" yeah thanks for the info now fix it damn it do you know how bad tinnitus rings when you don't have canceling noise. Anyhow some meds a few weeks it goes away then he talks about balloons in the sinuses and a tube as the one that is there seems to not be working right anymore... Sigh Note to any younger folks in here or old folks who are not smart enough on their own IE like me lol wear a dust mask or respirator when sanding, grinding etc metal , paint and composite materials it is not good for your sinuses !! just saying that is your PSA for the day lol I am out later.
