Good morning, this is supposed to be the last cold day in the forecast here. Put down more Calcium Chloride in the drive and steps hope that is the last I need this year. Yeah right, but it could happen. See a 60* in the forecast in a couple of days. I'm not shoveling the drive the hell with it let the sun melt it.

When I retired from the Navy 20 years ago was living in Asheville and picked up a gig doing consulting to do business process improvement. Worked a lot of vertical markets but most was manufacturing and spent a LOT of time down in Greenville. Besides the push for damn Europeon ISO 9XXX certs mainly automation with computer systems. It was unreal how many manufacturing companies are in that area. When BMW came in at Spartanburg the number of cottage industries that popped up to provide for them just escalated that number. Really enjoyed working with the manufacturing companies but damn that is a tough sector to be in long term. But I do miss it at times.

At our age yeah I said it with medical issues looking for a new employer is extremely scary . They look a us and think well experienced yes , probably will be a conscientious employee butttttt there will be a higher pay required, they may need more time off for things , they will not be here long before they retire. Then It becomes a cost benefit analysis on whether or not to higher you vs 2 young pups who do not need the money, time, etc you do. Workman's Comp should cover no problem as long as you have all your paperwork , the real problem will be if you jump will where you land give you the time off if they go in on the shoulder again . In todays economy bud I don't really think they will , unless it is a protected job state or fed where once your over probation you essentially can't be fired unless you murder someone .

I thought you got a real chair and pedals?
When ss was young I set him up a loft bed with gaming under it. Robbed some old gaming chair speakers and mounted them up. Rope lights and all. He liked it. Now just left with a room with camouflage walls. Another thing on my to do list.:(

There's a lot of different opinions Here at work on weather to apply the grease on a cleaned post , then attach the terminal, vs clean the post , attach the terminal and then apply the grease? Thanks Mike, asking for a Friend.
