I had one, 1 yr remote, nuclear assignment early in my career ... I avoided getting another for my last 19 years on active duty. Such a pain!

    I like this sign ....

This Property protected by a United States Marine who has a serious lack in negotiating skills but absolute hell in a gunfight

If you don't belong here , please leave

Way too many words and, when it comes to a.sign on my lawn, there are no negotiations...just "GTF OFF MY LAWN". And that may also be followed by a long stream of colorful descriptions of their size, shape, parents and ability to suck the chrome off a trailer ball.

    Morning everyone

Clear blue and bright sunny skies this morning with temps nearing 60 degrees . supposed to reach 90 plus degrees today , might have to keep the AC running !!!

Going to go out to the garage in a bit and clean up my Camaro for tomorrow's car show

My friend has that sign on his front lawn near the entry way into his house . some of his neighbors don't like it and have asked him remove it

Yuma has "Midnight at the Oasis". It's an annual car show event. I can best describe it as a low budget "Good Guys" with a pretty big turnout and some really nice vehicles. It was last weekend so I missed it this year, but it is a really good time. They have bands, food, a few vendors to go along with the vehicles.

We've got quite a few big car shows coming up very soon with open header cruising which is my absolute favorite !!

Something about idling around open header at a 1400 rpm idle with the smell of VP Racing fuel !!!

We actually don't have a problem here. The vast majority of people walking and jogging in the neighborhood live in the neighborhood and it's a very respectful place. The folks that own the house next door have a little boy who's autistic and, before they pcs'd to Miramar, he would come over and rearrange the gnomes in my front yard and he's a great kid.

Look up off-duty LAPD officer in Anaheim having trouble with kids on the lawn, on desk duty and being sued, neighborhood vandalized. Be careful what you do, society and our laws are f'ed up.
