Funny since Conn gets snow you would figure they know how to get ahead and keep up unless they are trying to save money :{ It hurts the hourly employees or the ones who work like @Tacoma Mike

Supposed to come down at 3 inches an hour. Think they just want to keep up with it without having to deal with the knot heads driving around.

I have mandatory annual training tomorrow. After 27 years with the government, I get it. No, really. I get it. We've been over this renamed, rehashed, recycled and redundant material for twenty-seven years. I volunteer to swap places with any of you guys that are in this storm just so I won't have to endure this tomorrow.

I like watching the " I got this " folks a few years back I had a Supervisor try to cajole me into coming into to work I was like bud the drifts are as high as my hood (1999 Chevy Silverado) his response man you are from Maine you should be able to handle it no problem. I chuckled and said sure with someone else's truck and about 2 more feet of clearance and we hung up. I get a call about an hour later he talked one of the rednecks with a jacked up Ford to come get me the guy is on the phone says he just turned on my road I am like ok and he says XXXXXXX asked him to pick me up on his way in I started laughing he was like what ??? I asked how far onto my road are you he is like ummm a hundred yards or so why ... I asked him how deep is the snow he says about 2' to 3 ish in the drifts but "I got This" it will get better when I get beyond these trees ..I laughed at him he wanted to know why I was laughing I told him bud you are 3 miles from my house all you have after those trees is open fields both sides the drifts only get deeper ... He repeated the "I got this " I said ok well let me know when you get past the stop sign ( about half way) 1 1/2 hrs later he calls man I keep having to back up and run in and back up and run in can you walk to my truck ?? I asked him are you at or near the stop sign he said no , can you see it he says no .. I said well I do not have snow shoes and no way in hell am I walking 2 miles in this snow on MY DAY OFF to go to work so unless you can get to my driveway you might as well back out and go around lol . He responds well umm ok I am getting low on gas anyhow ..I could not resist .. I said soooooo you still think you got this ??? LOL Yeah he called me a bunch of names lol I told him man you know I am from Maine and I will work if it really was needed but if I did not come in on my own and the supervisor told you to come pick me up did it occur to you that there might be a reason ????? lol Yep more names lol told him he had to back track about 8 miles he might find the gas station there open or the pumps and have a good one :} Yeah so "I got This" is usually the person has no idea what he is getting himself into lol
