    Yup!
I have a Poulan of the same vintage. Probably the same rider with different paint. Think they're all generic MTD's.
Changed both belts for the first time last year. I have a cheap Homey-D battery for the last 15 years that won't quit. Original spark plug, but I do change the oil every season.

I have a MTD also, I've heard a lot of negative comments about them but mine has been bullet proof. I do need a new battery and will probably change the spark plug but otherwise no gripes.

Nice Nova Bucktales. My Dad bought a used one from my Uncle who was a car dealer near York PA. Typical used car that was only driven to church on Sundays by a little old lady lol. If memory serves I want to say it was a small block V8, my brother use to run the crap out of it when I was about 13 yo. Big fun rolling down county back roads like a seen out of the movie Bullitt. Good times...looking back I'm amazed I survived.

My Dad had a 68 Nova, no idea why he got rid of it but it sold fast.

Been working on taxes today, yes I put it off, and now I have a headache from changing glasses for the small type on the forms to another pair for the computer screen.

Busy day. New employee shows up for 1st day in an hour. Orientation for him, then off to the doctor to see what the next course of action is for the kidney problems......Then back to work for a while.

Got a rough week ahead. A great nephew decided that a cheating wife was enough reason to end his own life yesterday morning. 22 years old and leaves 2 small kids behind. My sister raised him after the boys father (her step son) decided a world of drugs and crime was his best path through life. Now my sister is raising 2 MORE kids, as the "cheating wife" decided to just pick up her stuff and walk out of everyone's life.

Sometimes you have to realize just how lucky you are.....My wife, kids, and grand kids are the best reason why I get up every day.....Some people just don't get that luxury in life.

Sorry to hear the sad news blue, you can only hope young ones lifes go down the right path. Sad to think someone felt so alone they thought suicide was the answer.

Doctor visit went well enough.....MRI next Monday morning. Back on antibiotics. Keeping fingers crossed.

Great nephew will be buried Thursday after a brief family service. I talked with my sister this morning. She is still trying to put a logical spin on this. I told her there is no logic in an illogical act. She'll never understand what happened. The best she can hope for is to accept what happened and try to move forward. Both may take some time.

So sorry to hear that Blue....

since "mom" left, hope you make it legal for the kids... so mom can't come back later on and decide she wants to be mom again. Good your sister is taking the kids. for all involved

The mother voluntarily relinquished her parental rights in front of a judge. She openly admitted she cannot (and WILL NOT) take responsibility for the child. I have a couple "connections" within the legal system who've already been called. They're stepping up to help. There will be an emergency hearing just 4 days after the funeral to give full custody to my sister and bro-in-law. At this point, the ONLY thing that really matters is doing what is in the best interest of the child.
