If the barb exited the skin I would have cut them off and pulled it back out of my finger !!!

Grab a stick, bite down push it through, cut off barb and remove. Might pass out a time or two getting it done but nothing is more important at the time than fishing and getting back to it.. oh forgot, clean it out with whatever water you have.

 

Cool beans Got a few hours of sleep since I'd been up since about 3am. No breakfast no lunch. Mowed some more ,weedeated, hauled and spread mulch, etc. And just plain ran out of oomph. Finally ate.
Race was on and slept good. Engines sound like rain on a metal roof to me.
Now to eat some more.

Yup.

 

I'm going to get a few hours in tomorrow. Someone dumped some metal building studs on the side of one of our roads. No reports of any construction site thefts but it's hard telling. I'll pick it up and put it on hold till LE gives me the go ahead to do whatever. At this point it's basically litter. Expensive, useable litter.

I guess it's been there for a few weeks. So, since it hasn't quite cooled down and we have a full plate, I'll go burn a hot day in the truck and save the cooler days for on the ground so it won't be so bad.
