I'm thinking if it's only 800 to 1000 pounds including the trailer I'll cut the OD off for the mtn

Shit the springs in the back dont give much now I loaded a whole bedroom suit of walnut in there a couple of months ago and t never budged

 

...and patience.

I get a laugh out of watching them folks trying to back their rigs into camp spots with their significant other ground guiding them. We're talking damn near divorces over it.

 

Luckily I have had to develope the backing up skills over the years

 

Some of my best times is watching people back up at a boat ramp.

Shoot whenI had my car trailer I used to have to pull up into the front yard and back it up all the way across the front around the end of the house and all the way across the back yard to park it. Yes the little singles are trickier but doable

I like the part where the trailer breaks over the ramp and the rig is still on the flat, they lose visual of the trailer for that little bit before the rig breaks over and they turn the steering wheel for no reason...it's all shitzo after that.

Seen one guy unhook the winch line on a 20 footer at the top of the ramp.
He figured on getting a running start and hit the brakes at the last minute.
Didn't quite work out that way and made a hell of a three point thud three feet shy of the water. Rollers worked better than he thought.

 

Or they undo the winch on a roller bunk and back over and roll the boat off the trailer

 

No I haven't. I have the new OEM plugs sitting on the bench, and want to find the correct gap tool to check and set them at .043. Thanks.

That's good. You want the trailer to be a little not she down, but with Toyota springs, that's not usually an issue. Haha

Was it a 250 I6 with three on the tree? One of my learning vehicles was a 73 C10 like that. I was to small to pitch hay, so dad put me behind the wheel, while he and my brothers loaded and stacked. I can smell the hayfield just thinking about it. Great memories!

It was called the BIG 10 . Had heavier springs. But no friggin ft sway bar. I had to add one. Calmed it down big time..

 

OD. I assume you have the 4 speed automatic. You just shift from D to 3.
