Hmmm, I did have some venny burgers bout an hour ago.

 

She's still favoring it but using it slowly. Supposed to be on a leash outside. She is fast!

 

I followed the instructions on gunk along with gunk engine dressing. I like the black magic engine cleaner too. I just use low water spray and put a bag at times over alternator depends. Then a good spray of 303. I let it run off everywhere and start engine afterwards. But i use on cold engine not warm.
And a wipe down.

 

How long until she's fully recovered and is the injury going to slow her down as she gets older ??

 

6 weeks from surgery. We won't know but we're okay however she is. At least she's fixed and not in pain. Heck I've seen a lot of 3 legged dogs do fine.
I think she'll be fine if we keep her limited exercise for now. She's been crated so long she's gone stir crazy.

Same here. Pole saw, bush ax, chain saw... good ol redneck burn. I got tired of cutting and let the fire do the work. Let it burn and push it in farther.

I spray pretty liberally with cleaner just careful with water at low pressure with small jet stream nozzle. Then spray liberally with protectant while I wash truck. Then wipe down engine bay and start it up.

 

So if I cover the alternator with bag I'm okay to get the engine wet ?? .I've got one of those 2 gal pump sprayer with a atomizer wand

 

I've always cleaned under hood OCD style. The only problem I had is when doing detail work about 30 yrs ago or more. Pressured washed a Mercedes engine with it running. It choked and went backwards and died!
We all just walked away

 

I've gotten mine wet with water but covered for the cleaner.
It gets wet when plowing thru streams and rainy roads I just don't want cleaner in it.
