I did some work for them there and also the Spartenburg plant. Although it all came from Michelin NA HQ which is in Greenville and spent most of my time there. Was offered a job by the CIO on the spot after I took on the French security team and shredded them. Long story and not sure about the non disclosure agreement so will not get into it too much. Sometimes wonder what life would be like if I took the job would certainly be warmer :)

Volvo heavy equipment North America HQ is up the Saluda grade in Asheville and did a lot of work for them also. They made some serious earth moving equipment including those that were sent to Canada for the open mining there. Fully articulated loaders, they were unbelievable to watch. Helped set up their customer ordering system those beasts are custom built. But built as fast as possible with the best QA in the business. Not an easy trick to pull off.

Pretty sure I have a picture of you loading there, hang on. Yep found it

j/k couldn't help myself there. I can't be the only one that thinks of B&W Death Valley Days on the console TV, Ronald Reagan, and sponsored by 20 mule team Borax. Then there are the 60+ group that likely listened to it on the radio..

She and I don't see eye to eye... For example, I could say "isn't that a nice view out the window" and her response would be "no, not at all. I've seen better"...

Yep, we got a good drenching too. Lakes and reservoirs here should be in good shape for a while.
