I did some work for them there and also the Spartenburg plant. Although it all came from Michelin NA HQ which is in Greenville and spent most of my time there. Was offered a job by the CIO on the spot after I took on the French security team and shredded them. Long story and not sure about the non disclosure agreement so will not get into it too much. Sometimes wonder what life would be like if I took the job would certainly be warmer

Volvo heavy equipment North America HQ is up the Saluda grade in Asheville and did a lot of work for them also. They made some serious earth moving equipment including those that were sent to Canada for the open mining there. Fully articulated loaders, they were unbelievable to watch. Helped set up their customer ordering system those beasts are custom built. But built as fast as possible with the best QA in the business. Not an easy trick to pull off.

Hope yall got thru storms okay. Some didnt. Sun came out here later and turned out to be a good day. Almost 3" rain. Was a good day to bbq.

Morning all... It's going to be a great day for me! MIL goes back home to PA. She was visiting over the weekend for my daughter's birthday party.

 

She and I don't see eye to eye... For example, I could say "isn't that a nice view out the window" and her response would be "no, not at all. I've seen better"...
