Morning all. We have a lot of scrub oak in our area, green all year long and drop pollen or sap or acorns, whenever they feel like it. I have 2 ash trees the one in back is heavy with seeds and the one in front is about to shit pollen all over the place. In a few months we will have ash sprouts growing everywhere.

Ditto Blue! Hang tough. My dad's a 35-year cancer survivor, my mom is a two-time cancer survivor, and my wife is now in that club too. It can be done. Today's treatments have come a long long way too.

At this point, I'm just a little upset over the fact that I THOUGHT things were about to get better.....The 1 to 2 month treatment and recovery for the prostate thingy lingered on for 7 months, and merely transitioned into what will be a year+ ordeal. I'll deal with this.....Just pissed off at the moment. Just the first phase of the emotions that cancer brings. I'm finding out that I'm no different than anyone else....When they tell you that you have cancer, you have an immediate shock, followed quickly by a denial, followed by anger.....where I'm at right now. Not "beat up the dog" angry, just pissed off/bad mood angry. This shall pass. I'm already in the defiant/I'll beat this shit mode. My dad raised me to NEVER wallow in self pity. You won't catch me saying "why me"......Like I said, I'm no different than the other millions of people who have to deal with problems every day. Plan is to channel my anger towards this disease in a positive way.....This crap ain't gonna keep me down.

I'm good, but not napping well this afternoon, so here I am on TW, again. o_O

Do you have to buy whole fixtures or can you get direct replacement bulbs? I've been meaning to look into this, but my current stash of bulbs for in the garage will last me a year or more.

    How are you Susan?

You can buy just light bulbs or fixtures. The kids bought this http://www.homedepot.com/p/Hampton-Bay-Brushed-Nickel-LED-Oval-Flushmount-DC032LEDA/204490456 when I was out there and you'd have to replace the whole thing. That thing is BRIGHT!!!! They put it on a dimmer and it's great.

Hope you can get some sleep - I know the feeling all too well not sleeping :pout:

Other than not sleeping the best, I'm good... Not getting much done :anonymous: but  :D

No, actually the neck is doing much better. Biofreeze has helped tremendously!!!! much better than the stuff I said worked. the biofreeze is 100% better than the other.

You'll want daylight bulbs for the bright light. Some of the stores down here have some out so you can see the difference and there is a big difference between daylight and soft light and whatever the others are.
