Morning everyone. Trying to get motivated and give my truck her first bucket wash. Temp is 37 so I don't know. At least the wind died down to just a breeze.

I would still use the car wash. One more under flush couldn't hurt.:fingerscrossed:

One of these weeks, it'll be time to retrieve the Falcon from storage. This year is the first time I stored it off site - hopefully the mice and cats didn't make a home in it. Trouble is that I've become used to parking the truck in the garage. It's nice not having to scrape the frost off the windshield in the morning...

My buddy is a retired sparky, I should have done that. Still working carpenter, a lot harder on the body.

Agreed. I hope today's new apprentices recognize how good they have it. Back in our day, no battery tools, you stretched a cord with you and many times used a generator. No nail guns, impact drivers..... you get the point.

We had to cut pipe and rebar with hacksaw. And you had to stand it up when not in use so Texas sun wouldn't turn it to 150f.

I think we're all jacked up.
I have plumbers knees. but when doing overhead piping on a ladder kills my back from all the reaching with back bent back.

I going to Home Depot today. Need to get a new cordless drill and driver. Going with a DeWalt 18v setup, have the same rig at work, holding up well. I remember just rebuilding the tools was what you did. Now it's cheaper to by new,:annoyed:

If I could start new I'd go with makita.
I upgraded to lipo Dewalt since I had some old. I do know allot of parts are interchangeable. I broke case of new Sawzall and used old 18 v case. Same part number. Besides I got free tool with 2 pc set and set was on sale with 2 pack batteries for 90.00
