Shoulder replacement surgery is pretty intense and a hard surgery to do . A Marine buddy of mine just had it done about 8 months ago . He was in the OR for almost 3 hrs , a typical knee replacement is just under 1-1/2 hrs

I'd prefer not to, if I can avoid it..... Figure it'll be in my future though

Figure I'll have surgery on them in the future, too.

I'm maintaining thanks. To keep good grass here is a nightmare depending on the type of grass you have . We have two small areas to mow, and it's professionally treated for bugs every other month and It's irrigated. Looks like summers here in the south! :)

Gonna spend a bunch on my back yard here soon.... need to have the yard leveled out, then seed. Oh, and fix the sprinkler lines I broke when removing trees. Don't treat for bugs due to the dogs. Thankfully they haven't been a real issue  it stays that way.

One knee surgery, one ankle surgery, sounds like I got off easy compared to this group.

My medical history reads in two parts.....Pre-50 and Post 50. Pre is a blank slate. Post is overlapping episodes. I'd be down with just a few months with no impending surgeries, no lingering illness', and less than 15 pills a day.

At any rate.....Here I am. Today will (hopefully) be a relatively quiet day. Most of the crew will be putting up wind screens on the tennis courts. No (scheduled) meetings, which is good. Maybe home on time today!!!!!!

    Same here.
No problems before 50 and making up for it after.
If I had only known that in my 20's I would have done a lot more "stuff"

A few of the issues I have NOW are the result of things I did when I was younger....Lingering dirt bike injuries primarily.....

Most of the problems are just about getting older....I shouldn't whine about it....A few friends on mine never got the opportunity to get old.

But. I'll probably continue to whine from time to time.

Below freezing this morning, with a pretty good frost. But it's up over 45 already, and looks to be a great day. Looking forward to getting back working on the car (clutch swap) this evening.

I think I've got you all beat in the pills department. 9 pills of 7 different medications. Half of which are to keep my blood pressure/heart rate down to slow the growth of an abdominal aortic aneurism. I have to go in every 6 months for ultrasounds on it. The surgeon told me it's only a matter of time before I need to have the operation, and I'd like to hold off on that as long as possible. Open aortic surgery is pretty risky, and it's a lottery I don't care to win.
