For the achy bones...supposed to help with arthi-ritus

 

Have you tried it or know someone who has?

Moose incident whacked my neck pretty good and now arthritis flares up there fairly regularly. I take a lot of Motrin for it, but my SIL and her husband are nurses and kind of got me worrying that the excess Motrin will have bad side effects eventually.

 

Haven't tried it yet Rob...MRI showed the usual "old age" ills with the back including some arthritis...My son's boss use's it and said it helped him with his back pain...he recommended it for me to try. As with all things in life, it might work for him but for me...I am going to give it a try and see if it works......I'll keep you posted.

 

there is an old remedy for that.....Gin soaked raisins....Just google it. My wife swears it helps her knees.

 

I wonder if rum soaked raisins would work...I have to give it a try...

no...the science behind it is that the gin is made from the juniper berry and the juniper berry has medicinal stuff in it as do the raisins. Make sure the raisins are the golden kind.

 

Same age in one month for me. My mind still wants to think young but even that is slipping lately. Probably look kinda foolish driving around in a TRD Sport with the hood scoop, but heck that's the one I found the best deal on at the time.

IMHO that's the best part of getting older; I love the confidence of experience ... I no longer care about looking foolish to someone else. If my wife and my dog are both happy, life is good.
