Word to the wise ensure you have the MEK proof gloves on before grabbing a rag and dousing it in MEK especially if you have cuts of any type .. say healing stitches and the like. If you do not you will A) Find out real quick the thin nitrile gloves you have on do not stand up to MEK for more then a minute. B) MEK stings worse then iodine or mercurochrome or dare I say it Silver Nitrate. C) No mater how fast you get the rag out of your hand and the glove off the sting will remain for a full 3 min plus. D) No amount of swearing, shaking of the afflicted hand, blowing on afflicted hand , rinsing with water of afflicted hand will stop it . So in conclusion pay attention to what safety gear you have on or you end up looking like an idiot to your dog..:anonymous: I swear I heard him chuckle at me..

Yes we MEN like to learn by trial and error, mostly error. Been there . I have a good story about contact cement and ventilation, you don't smell it after awhile.

Have you thought about talking to her? Asking her how she's doing? Might get a lot of information that way!!

@ImpulseRed008 Happy Mothers Day Susan! Hope you had a good day and also get that nap in

Got up before daylight and headed to the river with the dog to do some hiking before it got too warm. Guess over did it and am whipped, then again the dog is too. Spent most of the day there. Brining pork chops now in salt and brown sugar. Going to smoke some atomic buffalo turds, Spam and fatties in just a little bit.

58 here also very soon 59. Wanted white but also wanted the Baja where the factory took care of a lot of it for me. Didn't like that grill and surround so fixed that also. Welcome your in the right pack here :hattip:Didn't want Barcelona Red but it was all they had. WTH it is a truck and takes me to work and the dog and I places to kill birds.

Thanks Mike yep PT had me working on that. But in my case doesn't seem to help and I go back on Tuesday and start MRI scans, etc. it has been 7 months now. Looking at the X rays they think it may be degenerative arthritis. Sure as hell hope not. And return to work quickly gave me a sit stand workstation I agree I hate sitting as it is. I am the Commanding Officer of my own LSD now. Large Steel Desk. I need to retire!

That is the going rate for a Toller pup today also. I paid $1,200 for my now passed Toller 14 years ago. If I end up with this rehomed Toller in Tx. it is going to be some place in the middle. A started hunting dog normally starts at $3k and the sky is the limit, but that is getting too rich for my blood. But when you look at the life time cost of a dog with food, vet, hunting equipment it really isn't that much. And the results are priceless! But you already know that

Add blood tests, dna, hearing, eyes etc tests along with semen if you do your own, vet bills for c section, it adds up fast.
