Morning all! I confess I wasn't able to be on most of yesterday and last night and I missed a healthy 150+ posts. Had to go to my daughter's FFA banquet which trumps TW. What did I miss?

It was very nice. Woodbury CT has a very strong team and did quite well in division, state, and nationals. For Bovine judging, the team is going to Scotland in a few weeks to participate in the world championships! This city slicker is proud of the kids at that school...

 

Good morning kids, happy Friday. Enjoying some COFFEE. Yard work today, then off to my mechanic for an oil change. Truck is a year and a half old, 40,000.00 miles. My 80 mi. daily commute is a killer. Y'all be safe and nice, it's tough out there.

 

Congrats to them. Scotland is beautiful. What a great deal for the kids.

Good morning. Coffee. Made it through here to catch up and now time to play at this work thing. Everyone have a great day and hopefully a long and happy weekend.

 

Morning all, I was tired yesterday, got home, took a nap, woke up, made dinner, fell asleep in front of tv. Woke up, watched a Netflix show, went to bed early. Still hard to wake up this morning.

Friend brought home some Chicory from Cafe du monde, strong but good. Let's see if I can pop my eyeballs out of my head.

 

At a wedding ask your wife to dance the first time the floor is crowded, she will be happy the rest of the night and it will only cost one dance. Took me 22 years to figure that one out. People ask me what song I am listening to when I dance, I am soOoo off tempo.

 

Can't say I ever really totally enjoy going to work, or look forward to doing it. But usually don't mind it so much. I owe, I owe so off to work I go. And like to play and that takes money.

The section head just sent an email to the whole team. Told us to take the long weekend to recharge and rest and she knows how much work we all have been doing and appreciates it. And if our schedule allows it to leave work early today and get a head start on our time off to rest. Guess it is why I don't mind work so much. Took me a long time to find a good team with good leaders, but it has been worth it.

Just went to bed only 4 hours ago and up already at 0600 . Got a VA Dr's appt this morning with the eye doctor . I'm getting a an outpatient procedure this morning to remove a 30 plus year old blood stain in my r/eye

The stain is getting to close to my pupil and needs to be removed as its affecting my vision in that eye
