Heloo Mr. Rob! Doc is one of the most impersonal bastards I've ever met. He acts like he's listening to you and then moves on with his agenda. I'm to continue wearing just the sling part with out the pillow part for another week but I'm free to drive. No work for at least 5 more weeks

Sorry, my 'PC' came out. After all I'm from New Haven County Connecticut...

Wait till next month - I have to go for inclusion & diversity brainwashing - I mean - training.

Listen bud, you're over 50 as well... I see the pot decided to call the kettle black!

He He I get accused of that quite often although I did choose a streamlined aluminum bumper and not a ig manly heavy steel one not quite sure what that means.

I was born and raised in the suburbs of Richmond. My mother's people are from Va Bch and my dad's from Sugar Grove, Va (Jefferson National Forest, just across the mountain from Marion). I'm familiar with your territory.

    Good evening everyone.
Trying to decide where to begin.
First I want to thank everyone for their well wishes in the many pm's I have received.
I also want to thank a certain someone that kept my wishes by allowing me to vent and keep info in case things
were out of my control. I won't mention their name however this person has my appreciation.
I think now I have a handle on myself and my situations to be able to let everyone know what's up.
This is kind of long so I can delete this if you deem necessary.
    I hate change.
The take over has been hell at work.
The simple things are not so simple.
After 40 some odd years I have a new employee number.
Which is so off the wall it's crazy.
    Nothing works the same.
They couldn't even get my insurances right so I didn't have any for two weeks. Plus something about pre existing conditions that sent everyone scrambling.
My anxiety gets worse as I get older. The moron factor drives me into fits.
But as of now I have it as you will find out why.
My work has been only worse the past few weeks with insanity electrical problems and unreasonable expectations.

But all this is minor compared to the bomb that landed in my lap a few weeks ago.
My wonderful wife has been diagnosed with cancer.
My mind had been on a run from crying for 3 days straight to extream rage and uncontrolled shaking.
No were in the manual does it prepare you for this.
A person who puts everyone else first, doesn't smoke, drink, use drugs gets kicked like this.
    I feel helpless.
    Overwhelmed.
    Lost.
    I'm a fixit guy. I fix shit. I can't fix this.
So now I also have tests that I have to take for my job.
    Like I'm thinking of those.
    Are u kidding me.
If I didn't take them the shop is in trouble.
I lost it at the shop on more than one occasion.
So I don't know how but I passed all those tests.
I dont remember them or the scores.

    So now the situation.
    It's stage one cancer
    It is confined
The ct scan showed the only one area.
The dr is pretty sure the nodes are not affected.
If he gets it all and the biopsy showers a clear separation then it's only surgery.
    No radiation, no chemotherapy.
So now we wait for surgery date and another test to double check.
We are not out of the woods yet.
At least we are not driving off a cliff.
    We are driving beside it.

So I didn't want to come in here and just explode and bring the group down.
I needed some time to put things in a order I could handle.

So with a few more good turns in our favor this could be a cure and I can hold my wife in my arms for years to come.

    I can't really go back 500 to 800 posts.
I just hope everyone is well.
3 day weekend to try and get stuff done.
    Again
    THANK YOU ALL....

    Evening everyone

The eye surgery was a success , they removed a small growth on my cornea . its was a little uncomfortable during the procedure but now resting at home

A lot of people today were thanking Vets for this weekend including myself and a lot are confused over the meaning of Memorial Day . This weekend or Memorial Day is only for Vets that gave their all for serving their country and paid the ultimate sacrifice

All other Vets can have their day in November for Veterans Day .This weekend again is to honor those who gave their all and paid the ultimate sacrifice
