You'd more than likely like the places we go. Mostly easy but far enough from people and a couple of challenging spots. Nothing to break the rigs or make work.

Mike, I haven't been n here much myself and skipped a lot of post. So, I had to dig back to see what's going on. Man, I'm so sorry to hear about all that has been going on, especially the diagnosis. Y'all we definitely be in my prayers. It sounds like they caught it early and she has a very good prognosis. Keep the faith, bud!

Pulled both ATVs (660 Grizzly & 450 Kodiak) outta the shed; only had to use the battery pack (thanks again @Cold Iron .. worked like a charm) on the little Kodiak...which had not been run for the last two Summers. I've thought about selling off the Kodiak both years, but Kristi said to hold onto it for when family comes up to visit.
Well, paying lawyer retainers and such has changed her thinking a bit...she agrees to my liquidating some of the excess gear and equipment I have laying around not being used. Might as well offset some of the bank drain.

I thought certainly I'd need to replace the battery in the Kodiak, but it appears to be holding it's own. Time for a NAPA run for oil and filters.

A long time ago I might have been one of the here hold my beer and watch this crowd :anonymous:

Now the only time I off road is to get back in someplace to hunt or fish where hopefully no one else has been yet. And they can be rather rough spots. ATV's have an advantage over a truck and it is past time that I got one.

All those earlier stupid stunts I did has helped me know when to stop and use the R thing on the tranny. But too often I sit there thinking for a couple of minutes and just KNOW there are birds or fish if I keep going in where that logging trail used to be. At least now I get out and check bottom and see what else is ahead instead of just plowing through. Well most of the time..

Rob, Is Alaska looking at starting to charge a state income tax? Was talking with one of my carriers that service that lane and he was talking about folks starting to pull out of the state. Something about overall benefits on the decline.

I'm so damn tired. Was hot as hell in attic. Was sweating so much I thought there was a roof leak.
Now to enjoy the race. Got some thunder boomers nearby flash flooding people.

the 3.5 Eco boost's that I've seen so far aren't cheap. I think that's what now comes in the Raptors.

Well in the big picture a thousand isn't much. I came from a full size dodge 4 door to my ac 4cyl and have no regrets it's just figuring out what works best for you. As my days of pulling a car trailer are over and no kids to run around I didn't need big anymore.
