    Morning.
Trackers had a rep for leaking back in those years. Not sure of now. So far mine is dry. Of course I don't beat the snot out of it in rough weather cause I'm a fair weather fisherman.
This is the only fishing boat I have owned. 21 years. It's not for big water. I can go places lots of people can't.I've hauled more Rangers and glass boats off their trailers cause they are stuck due to low water ramps Than I can count. It serves my purpose. I'm not out to make an impression. I'm there to have fun. If I have time I like to sit and watch the ramp and enjoy the show of people loading and unloading.

    Good Morning Eastcoasters:wave:

No bears have hit the bait station yet; but the ride out and back was enjoyable. I hit the wall about 8PM again; wide awake at 1:30AM--normal for me. I'll get in another nap before morning here. ;)

Guys, make sure all the moms are taken care of.

Happy Mother's Day to all. :)

Mine never leaked that I know of. Had it full of rain water a couple times.....(Too hard headed to get off the lake) I know what you mean....I didn't need "fancy", I needed a boat that would help me catch fish. Most of the places I liked to fish, you wouldn't want to take a glittered up fancy Ranger. And yep....Sat at the boat ramp many a time and watched idiots launching/loading boats when things didn't go too well. Funny stuff!

Talking about boat ramp fiasco's earlier.....: About 1993 or so, I was getting my boat ready to launch one afternoon, sitting on the access road to the ramp. There was a pair of guys with a brand new Chevy Dually pickup, a brand new Ranger bass boat, loaded with brand new gear, and that "look at me and my sparkling new stuff" expressions on their faces......taking their boat out. One guy backed the trailer in the water, the other ran the boat up on the trailer. The driver (in the truck) gassed it and headed UP the ramp. Neither had locked the winch. The boat was ALMOST out of the water when it started sliding backwards. By the time the truck had a full head of steam, the boat shot off the back of the trailer, on to the ramp. The winch line ran out and started dragging the boat. Pulled it about 50' before "Einstein #1" figured out "Einstein #2" was taking a thrill ride in what was left of their new boat. It was pretty much destroyed by the time they quit dragging it. I just backed in the water along side of them and went fishing in my low budget aluminum Tracker.

it actually doesn't show up regular road dirt and stuff as bad as you'd think.

That's about 50% of the reason why I bought a silver Tacoma. normal road dirt just doesn't show unless you really look for it. That, and I like silver....
