Backyard still wet (sits in shade of house and its damp/overcast today) ... it's not that high and the front yard is still greening up and not too high. Window of non-rain Thursday, and few day stretch over weekend. Long story short, not cutting grass today.

I can't believe I make the most simple statement about ketchup on a hotdog and it results into a 4 month debate. Around here it's always been ketchup, mustard, relish, and onion on a dog. Except me I don't use any of that except sometimes relish

 

It is all In fun :} I really never liked nor put ketchup on a hot dog it was relish or mustard or both. Why who the hell knows regional thing, inherited from parents meh what ever everybody likes what they like .

I see where your coming from but it is quite different.

 

Yep no beans or anything else, just fairly finely chopped meat (or ground). And ketchup. Er well OK tomato paste. And seasoning. Then drown them in it.

At home we would also put cheese on them and then top with slaw.

 

I like chili dogs with beans.

 

Just made a pot of chili and me and the son killed some chili dogs, damn good if I say so myself

 

Yep that's the funny part to me I don't use ketchup on hardly anything

Yeah me too. So my oldest son that is all he had growing up because that is how I or his mother made them. Now that he is out on his own he eats beanless chill on his hot dogs. Go figure. And he will take a hot dog or hamburger over a steak. No idea where I went wrong there.

 

So,in other words.

 

No problem just turn his steak in to jerky I am sure you could use that :}
