    :(
    X2 add my hug too.
One of the saddest memories of my life was watching Alzheimers take down my Great Aunt Mary (RIP ). She was the strongest minded woman I've ever known, to this day.

Sorry! Don't mean to be! Just like to share. It's a beautiful area and I love it here but next month starts the storm season and that can be stressful. I think everyone on here has some kind of Crap weather to deal with! Everyone enjoy the day. :)

Mothers Day is the busiest day of the year for us here @ work. The food service part is PACKED all day, and the golf course doesn't have one single tee time left for the day. It'll be nonstop fun all day. Once I get out of here, my wife and I will meet up and go visit the cemeteries where our mothers are buried. We try not to look on it as a sad day, reflecting on the GOOD TIMES we both had with our mothers. Mine should qualify for sainthood after dealing with me for all those years....

Wind, rain, snow, tornadoes, hurricanes, heat, cold, etc.....All part of it....I just try to look at it as natures power.

Yea it's amazing Blue! I'm Two blocks in from the gulf and it can go from flat calm to out right nasty conditions. I think the water spouts are amazing to watch off shore.

In my 58-1/2 years, I've seen 3 tornadoes taking place, been in the midst of 1 hurricane, 3 blizzards where we had over 2' of snow in a day, fed cattle on an open station tractor in -22 degree temps, not to mention a rain storm where we had over 10" of rain in 3 hours....plus a zillion other less memorable "events"....Just another day in paradise....

I will be 59 in July, I'm still not "grown up", I still play with trucks. And yes my mother is a saint, she had to deal with me, Happy Mothers Day mom.

    I'll just go into a holding pattern @ 59-1/2.....

After thinking about it, I'll probably start posting in the 60+ thread, AND stay here too. I guess we might get carded....who knows.

Happy Mothers day to all our Moms

My wife is still being spoiled and we will be off to Lovers Key for a "Beach Day"

One of the many advantages of living here in Florida...... 1/2 hour trip and you are at the beach :D and then drive back to cow country with the quietness of the Riva'
