Shoulders are one of the worse things to rehab I'm told.
One Good thing is I can get tested results online.
    My a1c is UNDER TARGET.
The hospital gave me a target and online the target is .5 less. So I'm kinda upset about 2 different goals. But I'm still under the lower target.
Colesterol is a ongoing issue I'm my family. I'm real close but my good stuff is low. Like it was many years ago. And doing what they said made it worse. But that's ok. Not going to take any more meds.
Lake tomorrow. Mowing lawn, registering Harley and grandson today. Going to try to find some tomato and cucumber plants to plant in a week or two. Keep them in the garage for now.

Hope you find a solution to your levels.
    Stay well sir

Heheheh that's the kicker. I did that years ago. Lost weight down to my black belt training days. Exercised. Diet. You know the whole thing. Felt like crap. My good stuff went DOWN.... I told them to go screw and stopped everything. Gained my weight back and had all my energy back. Not going to do that again. I walk like 2 miles a day. Pick up 150 lb pieces of vehicles. Push vehicles etc. sweat most of the day. And they want me to exercise AFTER THAT.. Yeup Sure. I need to rest for the next day.

Oh yea they told me to exercise. So I did. Lost so much weight so fast my food intake couldn't keep up with my body output. So I stopped their crap diet. Feel so much better except for the joint stuff. Gained my weight back. I would waste away to nothing doing what they said. My output Is literally like a runner.
I do not stop. I do not drink regular soda anymore and I stay away from birthday cake. I eat anything I want but don't gorge myself anymore. That's the only thing different I do now.

like i always tell people different things work for different people. i lost rt at 100 pounds before diagnosed and people ask how i did it? i tell them weight watchers but you may not have the same results it just worked for me. like my wife doesn't get it when i'm working i don't do the treadmill. i spend all day block sanding or painting and climbing up and down ladders i don't need the extra work out and my dr agrees.

Yep, on my feet all day, lifting moving, walking, solving problems. Backpack 20 to 30 miles and I am 40 lbs overwieght. Diets don't work, it's like you said, Mike, eat what you want but don't over do it. Fat, dumb and happy.

    Good Morning !!!

Overcast and cooler temps this morning and should reach the low 80's today

I've also been trying to lose some added lbs of fat I've been collecting over the last few years LOL!! . I'm 6'4 and right now at 240bs , trying to get down to 230lbs . What's funny is my BF % is right about 26-28% . I don't want to get to lean like a friend of mine who's 56 yrs old 186lbs BF 13% , that's too much

So if I can get to 230lbs and 25%BF I'll be happy

Labs done....EKG normal. Conferred with doctor as far as how things will go day of surgery. Got all the instructions and orders. All I have to do is take a bottle of laxative the day before, not eat anything after 1PM day before, then report to surgery admissions desk @ 10AM the morning of.

Nurse who did EKG looked very much the little hottie! Was seemingly unimpressed with 58 year old bald fat man.
