I also have the fretboard for a 17 inch scale.
So I can just lop off the end and rescale it.
The tuner is for convenience.
That's why I decided to hide it as much as poss.
I have gray paint for the 2x4 and going to finish the top fretboard, nut etc with the flat stain you see.

I was just trying the open g to see how much thump I could get out of it on the 25 inch scale.
I think I made the right decision.
When I get the electronics hooked up I'll find out.
I was going to put my spare Humbucker in it but I didn't want to insert it flush and make it to modern
Looking.
It won't be as loud as the bucker would be but loud enough to make noise and with the distortion box I might get for it it won't matter.
