    Fortunately my house came with it and we have natural gas. But, (getting back to that quest), it's still being considered as a viable option for the buildings at work (as well as adding propane). Luckily we have some time to figure out what we want to do and making the best decision. Truth be known, I'd really like to go solar but the hot water demand is too high in the winter when the snowbirds are here qnd the recovery time is too great to overcome with solar.

    Yes, they are costly and you'd have to keep an eye on propane tanks and be able to pay a lump sum to fill them up everytime (all part of our decision process).
