Soooo, here's the toast my best man gave at our wedding (paraphrased):

"Marriage is full of compromise and sometimes you aren't happy with it. What works for me is keeping a jar of marbles on the counter. Instead of arguing, just take a marble out of the jar and use that as an escape for your frustration. Once you empty the jar, it won't matter anymore because you'll have lost all you marbles anyway!"

    Good Morning (round one)
Fell asleep in front of TV about 2 or 3 hrs ago after getting back home from a second round of fishing at Larson creek. Visitors fly out this morning. Fun and fast paced week it was.

    :hattip: Kevin
I hope to fall asleep again here shortly.

Hiya Scooter...mind your manners boy. ;)

    :hattip: Original Mike
Yes you are, but you wear it well. ;)
    Have fun fishing.

    :pccoffee: Good morning.

Kevin you be safe down there hottest day of year so far?! Think I'd be doing those AC units if it were me. Even better like that idea of sitting inside doing the marathon thing if it is going to be that hot.

Decent here this weekend. Was going to go over to the Wildlife refugee with the dogs but flooding has everything closed. Think I'll do the hour drive over to the river anyhow and check out the Amtrak station and do a scouting for the parking situation. It is an unstaffed self serve station and says 12 long term parking spots not sure how that works. There is a doughnut shop in that town which is pretty good. Not that there is anything good about doughnuts, but they taste pretty damn good from what I can recall.

 See if I can slip in a second round of sleep. Helping Randy with toy storage barn assembly later this morning; then back over to Mitch's inlaws this afternoon to help them strip cut some salmon and get it into brine for smoking/canning Sunday afternoon.

Yea the Ac units are for barn. Had to get the sleeves to have holes framed. Bought the Ac units also because on sale. Barn isn't wired yet.
I'm out watering stuff before the heat.

I've been married to my first wife 24yr, sometimes we miss not having kids but then we are witness to some of the insanity and we don't miss it so much.
