I use to hang off the fenders with no hood going down the road checking for noises and squeaks.

You gotta come up with something better than that.

Last year's opening day, three generations hunting together. My Father, myself and my Son. Plus Uncles and my cousins. Would not trade this for the world.

    Good deal.
I remember many times driving to the K-Mart at Matamoras off I-84 on a Sunday morning just to get the application.
Filling it out and timing it right to send it back to get one of the limited out of state tags.

The last few years I hunted there, it was all online by then. Usually ended up with 2 doe tags for 3A.

Cool. I have relatives spread out through MD and VA. I think their date to apply was 7/17 for non-resident. We are in 4B. It sure is great to get everybody together @ our cabin. I make an eight quart crock pot of chili with venison. Never much leftover.

    Good Morning round two.
Another 3 hours nap time done proper in bed with my CPAP machine, vs the earlier 3 in my chair in front of the TV. We've run pretty hard this week entertaining/sharing some Alaska adventure. My relationship with Mitch's FIL/MIL has become as close to sibling-like as possible. Love them. :)
Ain't he just cuter 'n all get out. :)

Glad no damage or injuries for you and yours...dat's a lotta water in a short time.
I got my yellow moose cow tag recently ... good luck Brother. :fistbump:

We don't have tags anymore in this "state".
My license looks like a grocery receipt and kill "tags" I print out on my printer. You then report your kill online or call a robot. Lots of wiggle-room to "evade" the system encouraging poaching.

    Yes and yes.
And in my part of the state, they want them all dead.

Agreed. Pa changed their law regarding you must display license on your back, to must have on your 'possession' or person. Ridicules. So when we catch trespassers, we have no way to identify them to the authorities. Not that they will do anything. Gets passed between the State Police and Game commission. Nothing happens.

This pic was out at Chicken hunting caribou, but the same rigs we use for everything. A very few areas are restricted from ATV use ... we don't hunt them. These little Ranger 6x6s, especially the older ones like ours (2007 & 2009), are like mules -- not fast, not pretty, but capable AF. ;) We quarter the animal generally; each quarter goes in a game bag. Then we cut-off all the meat from neck, backstraps, and ribs, and they usually want the lower five inches of jaw...and you leave proof of sex attached to one of the quarters. Off course the antlers from a bull are usually always kept; strapped to the roof of ATV like a big trophy for all to see driving out. ;)
