Just leaving work, 26 mile of bad traffic. Might have 2 beers tonight. I have been going to the gym and peddling 8 miles 3 days a week, starting to feel better, time to step it up...the workout, not the drinking

So, the cleanup turned into a day of making piles. The dump truck picked up a flat tire on the way out there that I didn't catch till after I got it loaded. So tomorrow I get to meet the tire guys at 0800 to get that fixed. After that I'm taking the rest of the weekend off.

 

Sorry for you brother. I'm soooo glad I don't have to deal with traffic anymore.

Traffic was bad up the hill today , traffic was backed up on the I -15 SB from just North of Barstow to halfway down the Cajon Pass

 

Sounds like quite the clean up !!

I'm home...an hour to go 26 miles. 9 more years of this. Where is the Jetson car we were promised?

 

Long day! Lost an inverter for one of those big motors right at quitting time. It takes a line up of eight to run each. Guys did great on the swap and we got the machine right back up. Now some pillow time.

1st world problems...

 

When I used to drive from Victorville to Vegas - traffic would be backed up half the way

Well I got mechanical room plumbed and painted,pipes insulated and strapped, water softener and water heater piped in,toilets functional, only to come home to a house with no Ac.

Turned off system,fan is frozen,all my tools are 1/2 hr drive away. Went to Home Depot and got a portable Ac unit. I need a fan. Going to tear it out in am and hope I can lube it up

 

Hope it's an easy fix. Spent all day @ work with no a/c and it sucked. Used one of the "cool towels" and as long as I had a fan on and cold water on it, was semi comfortable.

 

Well Elon Musk is still in the development stage for his hyper loop tunnel system underneath LA . Maybe when he's done it will be a faster commute for you

I remember a trip from Vegas back to LA about 15 -20yrs ago . it took almost 11 hrs to drive the normal 4.5hr route

 

I am beginning to think keeping you away from house hold systems might be a good idea :} Damn man you are not catching any breaks these past few months.
