On a lighter note.
Damn I'm getting old.....

 

Getting crazy around these parts lately.
Saturday morning, two fishermen drowned when they were fishing on a reef here during incoming tide. Got swept off the reef and into deep water with chest waders. Third guy survived.

Then on Sunday, in the same area, a guy lost his steering on his boat and it threw him overboard.
Driverless boat starts going in a circle. You can figure out the rest.
He lived, but I heard it was pretty ugly.

 

I had a supervisor years ago that ran over himself. Nasty scars. He's a one armed plumber now.

 

Flash back!! They're from Long Island NY. I used to watch them play at the For n aft' in Brewster NY in the 70's along with Twisted sister when they were a copy Band.

 

Twisted Fuggin Sister... Seen them couple dozen times when they were a bar band. Had live bootleg cassettes too.
There was a For n aft around here.
Seen Twisted in Detroits in Port Chester a few times.

 

Hmmm...I think I found enough motivation to cut the grass ... probably hafta finish on pride again ... but it's the only solid weather window in next few days.

2 day processing marathon wore me out.

Where did that motivation go?

The fishermen should have known better.

Anyhow.

I went out and bought some new arrows for the compound.
I got a flyer the other day with no explanation.
Mmmmmm come find out my draw is the same length as my arrows. My tips were hanging on the rest.
So I got some 1/4 inch longer. I'm going to change the rest after the season to one that is further back. Plus mine lets the arrow fall out way to easiely. My boy has a fall away style and loves it. So something to play with. So I need to sight in these new arrows and then move to 30'yards.......

Yup, been to Detroits. Some of the other groups were The Good Rats, Rat Race Choir that did Zeppelin to the Tee and D.C. Star. Good Times.

 

Exactly. He's got that look. He perked up and started pulling when we saw one earlier. I'm going to turn him lose one day to see what he does.

That's Sad.

I don't believe in going out on a boat alone. It would have to be a emergency for me go solo. It happens around here a lot, guys go out fishing by themselves and drown.

 

You couldn't climb over the cage to get into it !!!

I can climb through the friggin carb to get in it.....
I built cages and welded them with me inside and they never figured out how I got out.

 

Looks nicely done. To bad it's the wrong year by one
