Here at moms place is on a hill. At my place we would be landlocked with creek down at gate.

 

Found a really sharp 359, so it's only 20 short

Thats an awesome truck. 359 is the predecessor to the 379. 359 was the truck during the era of the cabover. That was my dream truck while I was beating up and down I5 in a spring ride cabover. The difference between the 379 and 359 is comfort. The cab is a little wider, a little longer dash to back of cab. The entrance to the sleeper on the unibilt is almost the width of the cab at the back, while the 359 is not even as wide as half the seat backs, and the seats are closer together.
Still, you can't beat the cool factor of a 359 and that half corvette dash.
Id take it in a heartbeat.
Biggest downside is you can't take it to Commiefornia. I probably would have to go there getting started, even though I don't really want to.

 

I'm sure I don't want to know why you can't take it to CA.

Been checking weather updates. Looks like the storm is taking a slight turn to the south east, but is still pretty much stalled. But another positive I see for tomorrow is the winds will be predominantly out of the north east, so I'll have a slight cross wind in the morning going northwest a touch, but then I turn and drive southwest till we get away from all this hurricane induced weather...so it'll be a tailwind for quite a while.

What a race. That's the first time I've seen a race at Road America. Damn nice facility to say the least.

 

If it's like my Harley it runs hot......

 

Evening people. Well I think I'm good to go with my survival kit. I have everything except for my food and a cup.



And I found a L cheapo camo backpack for five bucks.





Yeah total weight 7 pounds. So I figure about 7 1/2 with all the food. Yep I'm gonna strap that to my waist. Yeah they can't say I don't have a survival kit so sign me up.

So I'm in the rings with my compound at 20,30 and 40 yards

I'm Bullseye at 20,30 and 40 with my crossbow.

Made myself a discharge bolt today.

Evening all! Fun day at the range today. Black & scary, lever action, 357 King Cobra, couple 9mm, 22Mag, couple 22LR. I was able to protect the club land of that evil cardboard...

 

Sure was a good race , I thought that last lap between first and second was wild . I bet some choice words were said in the pits between the two drivers and a visit to the NASCAR trailer

 

I saved my property from bags today also. Get the hell off my lawn.
