Whoever replaced it last November stripped the last threads . I put double sided stud in and put all terminals on out side threads. It tightened down , for now.

I've been seeing that. We are unusually cool for August here. We are getting off and on rain for the next couple of days from Harvey.

It seems I drove home on alternator. It gave me a bad time starting when I filled up before trip home. Thought it was cheap ass starter going out.

Not fun. I'm going to Phoenix in 3 weeks for granddaughters birthday. Just another quick 5 day weekend visit. Hope the temps are down some before then, but probably not.

    Sigh

Ok so I suck at plumbing, no surprise. I called my neighbor, who is a plumber and out of town, and asked about a new WH. He told me to calm down and look for the leak. Turned out to be a 20 cent washer. So far. There is still water dripping down on the burner, I will give it a few to see if it stops. I don't feel like spending a grand right now.
No not hurt, felt sorry for the kid that hit me.
I have found my new religion
Hope it works out for you, Mike

You BETTER be taking it easy at work damn it! Don't make me come all the way over to the East Coast and lecture you!! Hope you are taking it easy at work and please don't overdo it. You do know that they are leaning more to stress as one of the main contributing factors to heart disease now I hope. Nothing wrong with resting and not overdoing it. You've proved yourself and then some.

Or Scrapple :( But the 2 shall never meet. I hope like hell anyhow.

Got a text from my oldest and youngest sons at the same exact time this evening. Was interesting communicating like that but wish they would just call like normal humans. Or maybe this is the new human way of interacting, not a fan of it.

Oldest said as of today he is debt free including college, everything is paid off. He has wanted to do that before he turns 30 which he does on Friday, and did it. Level 2 tech support for Apple Computer, married and doing well but in the top 5% of OCD cases in the US. Has a lot of issues. He is depressed about turning 30 and didn't think he would make it to 30. Went back and forth with him trying to cheer him up and see if we could get together this weekend. Asked what he wanted for his birthday. His reply-

I like the motorcycle Steve McQueen rode in The Great Escape I'll take that

Damn I love that kid. Actually love both of them.

Youngest I'm not even going to go there yet. Not like he has control over a lot of what has and is happening to him, although some things he does. It is what it is. He turns 27 on Saturday.

Time to get back to the dogs. They almost seem easy now despite the F for playing well in the sandbox together.

A woman from Los Angeles who was a tree hugging, liberal Democrat and an anti-hunter purchased a piece of timberland near Colville, WA . There was a large tree ...on one of the highest points in the tract. She wanted a good view of the natural splendor of her land so she started to climb the big tree.

As she neared the top she encountered a spotted owl that attacked her. In her haste to escape, the woman slid down the tree to the ground and got many splinters in her crotch.

In considerable pain, she hurried to a local ER to see a doctor. She told him she was an environmentalist, a Democrat, and an anti-hunter and how she came to get all the splinters. The doctor listened to her story with great patience and then told her to go wait in the examining room and he would see if he could help her.

She sat and waited three hours before the doctor re-appeared.The angry woman demanded, "What took you so long?"

He smiled and then told her, "Well, I had to get permits from the Environmental Protection Agency, the Forest Service, and the Bureau of Land Management before I could remove old-growth timber from a 'recreational area' so close to a Waste Treatment Facility.

And I'm sorry, but due to Obama-Care they turned you down.
