    Good Tuesday morning feels like a Monday morning. 46* glad I shut the windows last night. High of 62* today. Almost 7 and it is just getting light out. Leaves are starting to drop. Here we go.

    It is called a cut vest, heavy duty skid protector type of vest. I looked at them for my dog who is a nut crashing through the woods blowing stuff up looking for birds. Sometimes they will take a stick in the chest. And sometimes it will penetrate. Although the boar vests are to protect from the tusks of boars of course. Some use a knife and reach in and cut the boars throat instead of shooting or spearing. But it is all about listening and watching the dogs work.

    Of course we don't run boar or coons with our dogs on here. We are too damn old for that shit.

    Still say varmint and season don't belong in the same sentence either they are or they aren't. At one time there was no season on varmints. Then the federal government discovered crows cross back and forth between Texas and Mexico, now its international. Well no shit Sherlock. So they said there had to be a season on them. And now everything has a season.
