    Oregon coast is close but employment is iffy. And storms are big.
    San Diego is nice but expensive, I left in the 80s because of the lack of jobs, I hear that has changed. But still, commies and hippies...so there.

    You can live in Washington state, no income taxes, and shop in Oregon, no sales tax. But, again, storms and expensive.

    Canada? Mexico? Spain? France?

    It burned until they finally killed the line. Fire department came by but nothing they could do yet. They had to go to a more urgent call. Still no power yet. Large percentage out in my county.

    HI is very nice. I really enjoyed the north shore of Oahu, myself. Sunny most days kills the PNW. San Diego - too expensive. Here's another requirement - firearm friendly, prefer class III...

    That would be any of the islands in Hawaii , My brother lives on the windward side of Oahu in Kailua and absolutely loves it . The weather there is awesome with a tropical environment . being that he's on the windward side he has a nice tropical breeze and temps are very comfortable 24/7

    You'll have rain pretty much daily but not constant rain but a few brief showers but can be heavy downpours . I've got a weather app for Kailua and temps rarely ever above 86 deg and never lower than 75 degrees
