It's nothing special. Just a charcoal grill I added an external firebox to....which was actually a smaller charcoal grill of the same make. I took my 4" grider and cut the pass through holes and bolted them together.

The big trick isn't the smoker, it's knowing what you have, making it work and being comfortable with it. Also not being afraid to experiment some. What I really like about this set up is the outcome is never quite the same.

 

That is thinking if it works why spend a ton of money :}

I need to get a firebox for the charcoal side of my grill.

 

Trying to keep psycho puppy awake for another 1/2 hour, hour so when its bedtime she will go to bed instead of turning it into crazy time.

 

Gas on one side, charcoal on the other?

I can't believe I'm up this early...had a hard time getting to sleep, then the dog jumped on the bed and woke me up then, just as I dozed back off again my phone goes off with an amber alert in Lemoore, Ca.

 

Jalapeño sausage was good yesterday.
Not so good this morning.

 

...may as well get up and turn the coffee on...

 

Oh, those beans were awesome but ran the dogs off last night.
