Yellow lab snores so she sleeps in the living room, or the dog room, or outside, or whoever she wants.

 

I've always gotten one, but been reading they are preserved with mercury why on earth do you "preserve" something with a poison?

Wife and i started noticing something a few years back. Everyone that gets a flu shot gets sick about a week later.
She is elegiac, so she doesn't have to get one, but technically she is supposed to wear a mask when around patients. I don't get one but I am paranoid and stay away from people.Doesnt bother me cause I hate them all anyway.
Last year was the first time in years Id gotten sick. One of the dumbass contractors was really sick and I didn't realize it till he coughed in my face. Week later I was sick. Helped contribute to the end of that job too.
But thats O.K.
I think Im on a better trajectory in life right now anyway. For the first time in about 15 years I have life goals and Im not just sitting around with an outlook of negativity on the future, waiting for the end. So we shall see.

And mercury isn't poison. It is only harmful if you ingest it, so don't.

 

I don't get sick after getting the shot - was told years ago to take 2 aspirin before getting the shot and then 2 afterwards if it works, but I haven't gotten sick from it. Try and stay away from people, too. Don't give me your germs!!!

Trace amount and very little trace at that. There has always been debates about immunization shots for the 80 years they have been around. But if you look at the millions that get them and the data, pretty safe.

On the other hand Charlie the Tuna hasn't tasted quite the same after they reduced the mercury levels in the oceans. Or some at least claim they have.

 

Only harmful if you INGEST it, well, INJECTING it into your body is a form of ingestion

 

I can feel it for a couple days after I get my shot. Not full blown flu, but not 100%. They have to guess which strain is going to be the one. To bad they can’t have a shot that covers all strains

 

Just saw the TV preview commercial for a new movie coming out called ONLY THE BRAVE.
Its based on the true story of the Granite Mountain hotshots and Im already going to call bullshit on this movie from what I saw in the commercial. That fire burned the town down, but it was a shithole of a town. It didn't look anything like what they showed on the commercial. In fact, the majority in that town were on the govt. dole in one form or another.

Yeah, wouldn't want to be in on the decision on which strain to fight....

No one would go see a movie about a rat hole town. What about the rest of it?

End of the month and quarter... This is going to be fun. I already had to stop shipment on one product. The contract had clauses that we didn't meet. Damn program managers will sell their soul just to make a sale.

My shot is on Tuesday.
